The Texas county maps
website was developed by
the Center for Geospatial Technology at Texas Tech
University.
The purpose of this website is to 1)
provide a map-based information resource and 2) demonstrate the
utility and potential of county-level Internet map services.
The map services were developed using
data available in the public domain - largely TIGER-based data from
the U.S. Census Bureau and elevation data from the U.S. Geological
Survey. Please view the metadata files for more detailed
information.
